  • Long description Recognizes human SH2 (Src homology 2) domain-Leukocyte Protein of 76 kDa. _x000B__x000B_SLP-76 is a substrate of the TCR- stimulated protein tyrosine kinase that function in hte signal transduction cascade linking the TCR with IL-2 gene expression. Alignment of murine and human SLP-76 nucleic acid (80% identity) and predicted protein sequences (84% idnetity) indicates a very high degree of sequence homology. Human and murine SLP-76 mRNA demonstrate an identical pattern of tissue-specific expression. In human SLP-76 mRNA is abundantly expressed in human spleen, thymus and peripheral blood leucocytes, T-cells and monocytic cell lines, but a low level of expression in B cells.

  • Test Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
